On September, 8th, the Millennial Debt Foundation convened its largest Stewardship Series event to date in Miami, Florida with 150+ in attendance and hundreds more viewing live online.
Headlined by Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and Congressman Byron Donalds, the event featured perspectives on the rise of cryptocurrency, the long-term consequences of poor fiscal policy and the current momentum in Miami, which has been dubbed “the Miami moment.”
Millennial state representatives Daniel Perez, Juan Fernandez-Barquin and David Borrero joined panels at the live event and spoke to the unique political perspective of young Cuban-Americans and the reasons that term limits in Florida state government have emboldened accountability and young voices.
